For this assignment, I was to create a write a webpage in HTML. I wrote my webpage about different breeds of dogs.
I haven't had too much experience with HTML. I have coded a little bit in various coding languages, such as HTML, Javascript, and Python, but not enough to actually be quick and comfortable with using the code. Underneath this text, there is my original code in HTML, and below that is my webpage opened as a file in Google Chrome.

These are pictures of Australian Shepherds that are licensed in the public domain, with a creative common license, or with a copyright license. Under each title is a description about what license the photo has and what the license signifies. Under each image is a button that leads to the site that the image is from. public domain When something is in the public domain, anyone can do anything they want with it. The person who finds it can do many things with it, such as use it, edit it, and even sell it. Basically, an image in the public domain is free to use for any purposes. A citation towards the creator is usually not necessary, but some coordinators may require it. attribution An attribution license is similar to a public domain license. When something has an attribution license, you can do anything you want with it, like with a creation in the public domain. However, citing the creator of something with an attribution license is required. attribution sharealike An attribution sharealike license signifies that you can do anything you want with it. However, you have to site the creator and you can not create a new license for the creation. In a nutshell, attribution sharealike is the same as attribution, except for the fact that a new license can not be made by you. attribution noncommerical Attribution noncommercial, similar to the previous licenses, is a little bit more restricting than the last license. The license of attribution noncommercial states that you can do anything with the creation or idea except for sell it. attribution noncommerical sharealike An attribution noncommercial sharealike license shows that the thing that the license is being applied on can be shared, copied, modified, and shown. On the other hand, a citation is required, and you can not sell the creation or create a new license. atttribution noderivatives With something with an attribution no derivatives license, you can share it, copy it, sell it, and show it. You have to give attribute to the creator. Modification is not permitted when using the creation. attribution noncommerical no derivatives When using a creation with an attribution noncommercial no derivatives license, you can share, copy, and show the creation. However, you can not modify. or sell the idea. A citation or credit to the creator is necessary. copyright An image or idea with a copyright license can not be copied, modified, shared, shown, or sold by someone besides the owner. However, one can use an image under a copyright license with fair use and a citation.
